Meditation Instructor Profiles
Having practiced different meditation forms over the past five years I am very excited to be a part of Sophia's Well of Wisdom's presentation of Transformation Meditation. It gives the most direct and concise experience of what I have learned to know as the 4th State of Consciousness, a clear path to Self. I looking forward to sharing the body, mind and emotional health benefits meditation has to offer.
Lynnea Honn
Meditation Teacher
After playing with spiritual and meditation practices for many years, I finally got serious when I committed to a week-long workshop/retreat in Agni Yoga at Sancta Sophia Seminary. Around the same time, I was initiated into Reiki and began a spiritual practice within that tradition as well as practicing the deep meditation practices I had learned at SSS in 1993. Over the years, I continued my personal studies of spirituality, meditation, and energy work. After retiring from a career in education, I was called to pursue a ministry of spiritual wellness for body and soul. I pursued studies in both bodywork and spiritual ministry resulting in massage and bodywork certification, ordination, and a doctor of ministry degree from SSS. After discovering the Transformation Meditation program, I knew we had found a simple but effective research-based method of meditation to add to our Holistic Wellness Ministries. Meditation is very important for our individual progress on the spiritual path and for the well-being of humanity.

Meditation Ministry
SWOW is answering the call to provide a Meditation Ministry to the community. There is now a large body of research that continues to demonstrate the efficacy of meditation to reduce stress, lower anxiety, support health, and attain calmness and inner peace. Transformation Meditation is developed from the most effective research-based meditation programs. It has proven to be one of the most successful methods of learning meditation. Easy to understand, it brings immediate results, and is sustainable for a long-term practice with accumulating benefits.
Although a daily meditation practice is an individual pursuit, group meditation practice can enhance and support the practice. We offer two practice groups: Sunday at 10am is devoted to Wisdom Meditation, which includes guided practice, silent meditation, and intercessory prayer.
